# Three likely overlooked DR11 galaxies

These frames contain measured Legacy Survey DR11 `g/r/i` pixels. The cleaned view uses registered multiband denoising. It does not use generated fill, deconvolution, or super-resolution.

The selection supports **probably rarely or never visually inspected**, not **newly discovered**. All three have an automated WISE identity in NED, but NED has no archived image or spectrum for those entries. Two positions have no SIMBAD object within 12 arcseconds. The clearer spiral has a LEDA identity with two SIMBAD references. No catalog search can prove that no person has ever looked at a position.

In each pair, the direct observed view is first and the cleaned presentation is second.

## Candidate 01: `48423531729392699`

![Observed and cleaned pair](01-dr11-48423531729392699-pair.png)

**Novelty tier:** Clarity benchmark; cataloged but probably little studied.

Coordinates: RA `47.6060537372°`, Dec `-14.5387535112°`. A clearly resolved asymmetric spiral or disturbed disk. This is the strongest visual candidate, but its existing LEDA identity lowers the novelty confidence.

The fitted half-light radius is `7.47` arcseconds. The approximate axis ratio is `0.57`. The nearby NED entry is `WISEA J031025.44-143219.5` at `0.14` arcseconds. NED reports no archived image or spectrum for that entry. SIMBAD identifies LEDA 923320; two bibliographic references.

## Candidate 02: `48423577497637495`

![Observed and cleaned pair](02-dr11-48423577497637495-pair.png)

**Novelty tier:** Sparse catalog footprint; higher novelty confidence.

Coordinates: RA `331.4973600592°`, Dec `-12.7969392836°`. A bent or clumpy elongated source. Its broad structure repeats across the registered optical bands, but its exact morphology remains uncertain.

The fitted half-light radius is `5.00` arcseconds. The approximate axis ratio is `0.20`. The nearby NED entry is `WISEA J220559.36-124748.7` at `7.64` arcseconds. NED reports no archived image or spectrum for that entry. No SIMBAD object lies within 12 arcseconds.

## Candidate 03: `48423985741824692`

![Observed and cleaned pair](03-dr11-48423985741824692-pair.png)

**Novelty tier:** Sparse catalog footprint; higher novelty confidence.

Coordinates: RA `319.2165287973°`, Dec `4.1638490082°`. A thin, coherent edge-on disk candidate with an approximately exponential fitted light profile.

The fitted half-light radius is `6.33` arcseconds. The approximate axis ratio is `0.14`. The nearby NED entry is `WISEA J211651.79+040954.2` at `5.52` arcseconds. NED reports no archived image or spectrum for that entry. No SIMBAD object lies within 12 arcseconds.
